Overcoming Modern Acoustic Challenges
As consumer electronics become thinner, smaller, and more sophisticated, delivering high-quality sound within compact form factors has become a major engineering challenge.
Ultra-thin laptops, smart displays, wearables, and TWS earbuds must balance limited internal space with demanding acoustic performance. Common challenges include acoustic interference, unwanted mechanical vibration, miniaturization, and assembly precision.
With more than 40 years of electroacoustic engineering experience, VECO addresses these challenges through patented speaker architectures and structural innovations.

VECO’s Patented Acoustic Engineering Solutions
1. Dual-Sided Non-Coaxial Composite Speaker Architecture
Applications: Ultra-Thin Laptops, Tablets, and Smart Displays
VECO’s patented non-coaxial architecture uses a staggered woofer and tweeter arrangement with integrated structural and acoustic isolation. This design helps reduce acoustic interference between the low-frequency and high-frequency drivers, supporting improved stereo localization and sound-field separation.
Typical Laboratory-Tested Performance:
• Reduced acoustic crosstalk between the woofer and tweeter
• Improved stereo localization and sound-field separation
Patent No.: 202520086996.6
2. Dual-Suspension Micro Speaker Architecture
Applications: Smartphones, Smartwatches, and Compact Wearables
VECO’s dual-suspension architecture provides improved control of mechanical movement and unwanted vibration within compact speaker structures, supporting more stable acoustic performance under high-excursion conditions.
Typical Laboratory-Tested Performance:
• Total harmonic distortion (THD) controlled below 5% in the 200 Hz–1000 Hz frequency range
• Reduced system enclosure vibration by more than 50% during normal speaker operation
Patent/Application No.: 202311003276.0
3. Optimized Dual-Suspension Design for TWS Earbuds
Applications: Premium TWS Earbuds and In-Ear Devices
Designed for extremely limited internal space, VECO’s optimized dual-suspension structure uses an elastic secondary suspension and optimized cantilever geometry to improve transducer stability, linearity, and space efficiency.
Typical Laboratory-Tested Performance:
• Total harmonic distortion (THD) controlled below 5% in the 200 Hz–1000 Hz frequency range
Patent No.: 202310678005.9
4. Structural & Assembly Process Optimization
Applications: High-Precision SMT and Automated Mass Production
VECO integrates patented structural and assembly features to improve assembly precision, reduce mechanical stress, and support consistent mass production.
Typical Laboratory-Tested Performance:
• Mass-production assembly efficiency improved by approximately 20–30%
Patent No.: 202210482079.0
